3 years - Diploma (E & E Engg) - (Minimum) / BE (E&E) / AMIE (E&E).

Work - Experience

6 Years - 10 Years in Engg - Design Consultancy Services.

Skill Sets

Autocad, Revit, MS Excel, MS Word

Key Result Area

Drafting of Schematics /SLDs and Layout drawings /Equipment layouts / Lighting design / Cable trays/Raceways/ Sectional dwgs etc

1.Meeting drawing delivery commitments as per project schedule

BOQ Preparation

Quantification of Electrical instalaltion works and preparating quantity backup sheets.

Drafting review

1. Tracking of revisions through revision numbers

Detailing

1. Incorporate details to enable vendor to capture requirements while bidding and prepare accurate design drawings.

Quality of drawings

1. Number of errors made during the drawings (Internal Review Stage) 2. Accuracy in estimation of BOQ 3. Minimizing rework attributable to the Cad Engineer on signed off drawings

Internal and External Coordination

1.Co-ordination with cross trade teams for spatial provisions and routing. 2.Support in resolution of inter-services clashes during GFC stage. 3. Updating design engineer on inter-discipline issues.

Review of vendor documentation

Develop vendor shop drawings and offer comments, if any, to enable design engineer to finally approve/reject.
