Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation of an annual calendar of school-wise interventions (of all forms) including SPOC calls and visits
  • Work closely with GM – School Support and SPOCs for the upliftment of schools in the low performing areas
  • Work closely with Senior Manager – Data Analysis to understand school-specific data and areas of improvement. Understand and strategise monitoring and evaluation steps for each school
  • Work with GM – School Support and disseminate relevant information to senior leadership about school-specific issues and work with specific teams to address the problem with smart solutions
  • Create school-specific action plans for improvement in consultation with school promoter, head, and other senior leadership. Devise a monitoring and support mechanism for the same
  • Work closely with AGM – Training to request for school specific interventions post a qualitative need-analysis
  • Organise data-driven conversations with school management and heads taking reference from various reports including but not limited to benchmark assessments, board results, Upskill, classroom observations
  • Serve as a crucial pivot between academic and non-academic teams and help towards achieving one messaging from all
  • Travel extensively to all schools and conduct need analysis and monitoring, and provide required support
  • Work closely with SPOCs and academic audit team and conduct process audit in all schools
  • Hold regular offline and online focus group discussions with teachers and school heads towards providing school-specific support
  • Evaluate and liaise with external organisations to cater to school-specific needs

Key Performance Indicators:

  • 10% YoY improvement in school average score in the Annual School Report findings
  • 100% completion rate of process audits at least once in every school in addition to the one done during classroom observation
  • 90% compliance to SPOC call and visit calendar for all schools
  • Zero major issue from any school related to daily functioning

Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker who is able to envisage new solutions, address work challenges and resolve conflicts
  • Self-driven, motivated to work independently
  • Desirable to have a master's degree in education, or any other related subject
  • Mix of language proficiency (verbal and written), deep understanding of school functioning, monitoring and evaluation specialisation and business acumen
  • 10+ years of work experience; of which at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Desirable to have experience in monitoring and evaluation
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders such as school promoters, school principals, training partners, external auditors, and other solution providers
  • Organised and process driven, and ability to work across timelines and cross-functional teams
  • Open to extensive travel, 7-10 days a month
  • Have strong project management skills
