Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Corporate Chef. The Corporate Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure quality and consistency in food preparation. Responsibilities include menu planning, managing inventory, food cost, training kitchen staff on techniques specific to Kashmiri cuisine, and upholding standards of hygiene and food safety. The role also involves developing new recipes that align with Matamaal's mission of celebrating Kashmiri culinary traditions.

Qualifications

• Skills in menu planning, food cost, recipe development, and managing kitchen operations.
• Proficiency in training and mentoring kitchen staff on culinary techniques and food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and cost control processes.
• Excellent time management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in a similar role in a fine-dining or culturally-focused restaurant is highly desirable.
• A culinary degree or equivalent professional training is a strong asset.
