Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Assistant Cook. The Assistant Cook will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and assisting the head chef in daily cooking activities. The role includes ingredient preparation, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and handling kitchen equipment efficiently. The Assistant Cook will support menu planning and ensure the timely delivery of meals to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion control
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation standards
• Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
• Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow recipes, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in hospitality or food service is preferred
• Basic culinary training or a relevant certification is an advantage
