We are seeking a Assistant Company Secretary to ensure that all statutory, legal, and

regulatory obligations are met across the organization. This role involves working closely with

various departments, legal counsel, and the Company Secretary to maintain compliance while

supporting our rapid project execution and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, including annual filings, maintaining

statutory registers, and managing board/AGM documentation.

Oversee GST Compliance, including filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and reverse charge

mechanism (RCM) compliance.

Manage Income Tax Compliance, including corporate tax (ITR-6) filings, TDS filings, and

issuing certificates.

Ensure adherence to ESI, EPF regulations, and Labour Laws, including gratuity, bonuses,

and employee benefits.

Ensure compliance with the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Cess

Act, RERA, and the Factories Act (if applicable).

Obtain and manage environmental clearances, building approvals, fire safety clearances, and

utility permissions.

Administer and manage the company's Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) program,

including allocation, vesting, and compliance reporting.

Handle tax compliance for construction contracts, including Works Contract Tax (WCT).

Ensure proper documentation for bank guarantees, securities, and project insurances.

Coordinate with departments, legal counsel, and the Company Secretary to ensure audit

readiness and compliance.

Support intellectual property registration and dispute resolution as per statutory guidelines.

Requirements

Education:

Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related

fields.

Preferred: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company

Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory

frameworks, or secretarial practices.

Preferred Experience: Handling legal and statutory compliance in a construction or

infrastructure-related organization.

Experience with Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs) is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, GST, Income Tax, and Labour Laws.

Familiarity with construction-specific regulations, including RERA, Building and

Construction Workers Welfare Cess, and environmental compliance.

Key Competencies: Excellent organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work across departments and

stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
