Responsibilities
- Monitor freight rates, vessel availability, and dry bulk market trends.
- Support prefixure chartering decisions through detailed market analysis and intelligence.
- Assist in the negotiation and execution of spot and time charter contracts.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure voyage compliance and optimize vessel utilization.
- Provide regular reports and updates on market conditions, vessel performance, and chartering status to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or Business Administration).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dry bulk chartering, prefixure operations, or related commercial roles.
- Strong knowledge of Handy and Supramax market segments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
