Role Description

The Assistant Chief Engineer role at Machan Resorts LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Lonavala. In this role, the Assistant Chief Engineer will oversee and ensure the smooth functionality of all technical and maintenance-related systems at the property. Responsibilities include coordinating daily maintenance tasks, managing a team, inspecting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This role also entails working closely with the team to implement sustainable practices and maintain the eco-friendly infrastructure of the resort.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems maintenance
  • Resort experience preferred
  • Proficiency in HVAC systems, preventive maintenance strategies, and energy-efficient practices
  • Proven ability in team management, problem-solving, and supervising maintenance staff
  • Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and eco-friendly infrastructure management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred (electrical )
  • Previous experience in similar roles within the eco-tourism or hospitality industry is an advantage
