Job Description

Purpose of the Job

As an Assistant Business Controller, your mission is to support the oversight of the company's financial activities and to assist the Business Controller and General Manager in effective decision‑making by providing accurate financial analysis and insights. This role supports the safeguarding of company assets through proper internal controls, while contributing to the identification of process improvements and efficiency opportunities.

The Assistant Business Controller supports activities related to financial systems, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and investment and profitability analysis. By working closely with the Finance team and cross‑functional departments, this role helps ensure that business strategies and plans are properly developed, implemented, and monitored to support sustainable and profitable growth. You will report to the Business Controller and provide support to the General Manager as required.

Main Responsibilities

. Work
- Support the Business Controller in overseeing the company's financial activities and ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with Group and local requirements
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, management reports, and performance dashboards to support management decision making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes, including variance analysis and follow up on corrective actions
- Perform detailed financial and profitability analyses, including cost control, margin analysis, investment evaluation, and business case support
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow
- Support improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and data quality
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of best practices in financial reporting and analysis
- Support the Business Controller and, when required, the General Manager in ad hoc financial analyses, presentations, and management reviews

. Audit
- Support internal and external audit activities by preparing audit requested documentation and coordinating audit schedules
- Support the Business Controller in defining action plans for issues and improvement points identified during audits, and monitor the implementation and follow up status
- Review and support the operation of internal controls and accounting processes to ensure compliance with Group guidelines and local regulations
- Support tax filing and tax related reporting activities, including the preparation and review of documentation related to key tax matters such as corporate income tax and value added tax (VAT)
- Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and Group policies, and support impact analysis on the company

Qualification
  • Minimum of +8years if relevant experience in the financial area
  • Analysis skills of financial and familiar with accounting principles(IFRS and GAAP) and local statutory rules
  • Good knowledge of English both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of local and fiscal regulations
  • Active, dynamic, motivated person with good communication management skills
  • Proactive ensuring that warning signals are highlighted and action plans are implemented
