Overview
Your role
- Master degree/Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an institute of repute. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in bridge design.
- Experience in structural engineering software and MS-Office.
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
- Ability to understand, explain, present and solve technical problems.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in bridge engineering software such as LUSAS, SAM-LEAP, RM-Bridge, MIDAS/Civil.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation, Revit.
- Exposure to international codes of practice.
- Competency in writing technical reports and making presentations
About You
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
- Experience of working in the water Industry; Civil / Structural design of water and wastewater assets, reservoirs, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment works. UK or any other international experience is preferred.
- Knowledge in MEPICA and Geotech for effective Multi-design coordination.
- Experience in client coordination, Design management and Buildability aspects.
- Experience of detailed design drawings and calculations.
- Familiarity with IS/BS, US Codes of Practice.
- Ability to contribute to the project management of detailed design of projects.
- Ability to apply, promote/improve quality systems.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel proficiency. Good understanding of ACC, Digital tools, 3D models checking, Clash Detection and Information management.
- Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering / Structural Engineering
- International experience.
- Experience of training and mentoring.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership (ICE UK or CIWEM UK)
