Overview

Your role

  • Master degree/Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an institute of repute. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in bridge design.
  • Experience in structural engineering software and MS-Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
  • Ability to understand, explain, present and solve technical problems.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in bridge engineering software such as LUSAS, SAM-LEAP, RM-Bridge, MIDAS/Civil.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation, Revit.
  • Exposure to international codes of practice.
  • Competency in writing technical reports and making presentations

About You

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
  • Experience of working in the water Industry; Civil / Structural design of water and wastewater assets, reservoirs, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment works. UK or any other international experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge in MEPICA and Geotech for effective Multi-design coordination.
  • Experience in client coordination, Design management and Buildability aspects.
  • Experience of detailed design drawings and calculations.
  • Familiarity with IS/BS, US Codes of Practice.
  • Ability to contribute to the project management of detailed design of projects.
  • Ability to apply, promote/improve quality systems.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel proficiency. Good understanding of ACC, Digital tools, 3D models checking, Clash Detection and Information management.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering / Structural Engineering
  • International experience.
  • Experience of training and mentoring.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership (ICE UK or CIWEM UK)
