Assistant Brand Manager/ Brand Manager

Job Description Document

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Work Exp : 4-5 years / 5-6 years

Role & Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Management

  • Understand Brand Strategy and develop 360-degree campaigns for collections and brand

awareness

  • Lead 360° campaigns from ideation to execution i.e. films, seasonal launches,

gifting/hosting moments, collaborations, POS, Retail activations.

  • Partner with creative, design, and product teams to build collections with strong

storytelling hooks.

  • Monitor brand sentiment and customer insights to feed into campaigns and product

innovation.

  • Support retail, ecommerce, and gifting channels with targeted brand-building initiatives.

Content & Communication

  • Oversee content creation across social, digital, and offline platforms.
  • Supervise website catalogue & content
  • Shape & strengthen the tone of voice — joyful and modern storytelling
  • Brief and manage external agencies (creative, PR, media) for quality and timeliness.
  • Partner with influencers, creators, and collaborators who resonate with Chumbak's ethos.

Retail Activations / Trade Marketing

  • Drive trade marketing for stores and offline activations to maximize footfalls and

conversions.

  • Build / strengthen a relationship with mall teams with regular catchups and updates
  • Consistently building sales promos with retail team – GWP, seasonal offers for the

calendar year

  • Partner & Retailer engagement with trade collaterals and special offers
  • ROI tracking for every activity

CRM

  • Work with CRM and performance teams to design retention journeys and loyalty

programs.

  • Calendarizing of CRM campaigns - mix of seasonal & monthly
  • Developing the communication for the campaigns
  • Ensures cross channel consistency through 360 campaign management - whether SMS / WHATSAPP/ NEWSLETTER
  • Checks against targets on how a week of CRM performed against NOB targeted.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in brand management, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Strong mix of creative sensibility and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced campaigns.
  • Passion for design, lifestyle, and consumer culture in India.
