Job Purpose
To contribute to high-quality teaching, research, and academic development in the discipline of Law while supporting the institution's academic excellence, research output, and student development.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses (LL.B., B.A. LL.B., LL.M. etc.).
- Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars, and case-based learning sessions.
- Prepare course material, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed / UGC-listed journals.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court activities.
- Participate in curriculum development and revision.
- Organize academic activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops, and guest lectures.
- Participate in institutional committees and academic administration.
- Contribute to accreditation processes such as NAAC, NIRF, and regulatory compliance.
- Support student mentoring, internships, and career development activities.
Essential Qualifications (As per UGC Norms)
- LL.M. with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Must have cleared UGC NET / SLET / SET or possess a Ph.D. in Law as per UGC regulations.
- Good academic record with strong research orientation.
Desirable Qualifications
- Teaching or research experience in a reputed university or law institution.
- Publications in UGC-CARE listed journals.
- Specialization in areas such as:

Associate Professor
Key Responsibilities
- Teach advanced courses in undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.
- Lead research initiatives and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate dissertations.
- Design innovative curricula and academic programs.
- Lead academic committees, research centers, and faculty development activities.
- Secure research grants and collaborate with national and international institutions.
- Organize conferences, seminars, and legal research initiatives.
- Support accreditation, ranking, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior faculty and promote research culture.
Essential Qualifications (As per UGC Norms)
- Ph.D. in Law (concerned / relevant discipline).
- Master's Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching / research experience in university or research institutions.
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Minimum research score of 75 as per UGC Academic Performance Indicators (API).
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience guiding Ph.D. scholars.
