Role Description The Assistant/Associate Professor in CSE will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including lectures, tutorials, labs, and project guidance. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, assessing student performance, mentoring learners, and maintaining up-to-date course content aligned with current industry and academic standards. The role also involves participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, supervising student projects, engaging in research and publications, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes. Faculty members are expected to collaborate on academic initiatives, organize seminars or workshops, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the campus. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering subjects (e.g., data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases).
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools (such as C/C++, Java, Python, and modern software development practices).
• Ability to design and deliver effective course content, including lectures, labs, and assessments, using learner-centered teaching methodologies.
• Experience or interest in research, publications, and academic projects in CSE or related domains.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-focused teaching.
• Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field; Ph.D. in CSE or allied area preferred for Associate Professor level.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes, academic governance, and quality assurance in technical education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to departmental and institutional initiatives.
