Assistant / Associate Professor in Agronomy

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Agronomy.
• Design and develop curriculum materials for new courses or academic programs in relevant fields.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that combine agronomic principles.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to the formulation and implementation of academic policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Possess an Ph.D. in Agriculture with a specialization in Agronomy from a recognized university.
• 3 years of teaching experience in an academic or industry setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of subjective principles, with the ability to apply this expertise in both teaching and research.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with a Ph.D will be preferred.
