Job Description Assistant Professor / Associate Professor (Psychology)

Department: Psychology

School: School of Humanities and Social Sciences

Location: IILM University, Greater Noida

1. Assistant Professor Psychology

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Psychology.
  • Develop innovative course materials, teaching methods, and assessments aligned with academic standards.
  • Supervise student research projects, internships, and dissertations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and academic activities within the department.
  • Conduct research and publish in Scopus indexed / high impact journals.
  • Participate in academic events, workshops, and institutional initiatives.
  • Support departmental activities related to accreditation, rankings, and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized institution (preferably in Sports Psychology / Clinical Psychology or relevant specialization).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution/university.
  • Demonstrated research potential with publications in Scopus indexed / reputed journals.
  • Strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.

2. Associate Professor Psychology

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and advanced courses in Psychology.
  • Provide academic leadership in curriculum development and program enhancement.
  • Conduct high-quality research and publish regularly in Scopus indexed / high impact journals.
  • Guide Ph.D. scholars (as per eligibility and university regulations).
  • Lead and contribute to research projects, consultancy assignments, and sponsored research.
  • Participate actively in accreditation processes, IQAC activities, NIRF/NAAC initiatives, and institutional development.
  • Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to departmental strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 89 years of teaching / research experience in a recognized institution.
  • Strong research record with publications in Scopus indexed / high impact journals.
  • Experience in research supervision, funded projects, and academic leadership will be preferred.
