About The Role
Are you ready to take your career in finance and analytics to the next level We are searching for an Assistant Analytics Manager - Payments to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of financial data analysis, working closely with our Payments Business Head as well as various other senior stakeholders across the Payments business to provide invaluable insights and contribute to optimizing our business processes.
What Will You Be Doing
As an Assistant Analytics Manager, you will be a driving force in taking our payments business to the next level.. Your responsibilities will include:
- Own Financial Metrics & Reporting: Design, validate, and continuously refine performance metrics that align with our strategic goals. Maintain up-to-date financial reports that reflect the latest business performance.
- Drive Forecasting Excellence: Build and maintain robust financial models to forecast revenue, gross profit, and other key P&L components playing a critical role in shaping strategic decisions alongside the executive team.
- Support New Product Launches: Lead the setup of P&L tracking for new product lines, ensuring accurate cost attribution, revenue modeling, and performance measurement from day one.
- Build Scalable Data Infrastructure: Design and enhance business intelligence tools and dashboards that empower teams to make data-driven decisions at scale.
- Enable Self-Serve Analytics: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to ad-hoc data needs and build intuitive dashboards that make complex data accessible to all stakeholders.
- Streamline with Automation: Improve efficiency by automating recurring reporting processes and optimizing data pipelines.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to translate business needs into clear technical solutions and actionable insights.
- Track and Optimize Costs: Support centralized cost tracking initiatives and generate comprehensive management reports to monitor spending and efficiency.
- Mine Insights for Impact: Dive deep into financial and operational data to uncover trends and deliver insights that drive growth, profitability, and strategic focus
We would love to get to know you if you have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 48 years of relevant experience in Payments, Business Intelligence or Analytics, with a strong track record of applying data to solve real-world problems.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for diving deep into data to uncover trends and drive informed decisions.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills to manage competing priorities and cross-team expectations.
- Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams, translating technical findings into actionable business insights.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- SQL: Ability to write and optimize complex, multi-CTE analytical queries using window functions, pivots/unpivots, and large-scale transactional datasets.
- Python for Analytics: Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data transformation, reusable analysis code, simulations, and scenario modelling.
- Data Modelling & Metrics Engineering: Experience designing analysis-ready data models and defining consistent business metrics.
- BI & Dashboarding (Tableau / Databricks): Capable of building and maintaining production-grade dashboards with complex joins, data blending, and performance-optimised views.
- Payments domain expertise is preferred but not essential this role requires bringing thought leadership to payments stakeholders and shaping our growth strategy for the payments business. Any experience in Cards, Cross-border Payments, FX is an added advantage.
