Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our Finance & Accounts team. This is a client-facing role requiring regular interaction with international clients across the UK, US, and Middle East regions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Record to Report (R2R), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Finalization, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned international clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Understand client requirements and ensure timely delivery of accounting services.
- Conduct client calls and meetings to discuss financial reports, queries, and ongoing activities.
- Proactively address client concerns and provide effective resolutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service excellence.
Record to Report (R2R)
- Manage end-to-end R2R processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and payments accurately.
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely payment processing.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and resolve payment-related issues.
Accounts Finalization
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist with audits and statutory compliance requirements.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to clients and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client management and stakeholder handling experience.
- Ability to independently manage client interactions and expectations.
- Strong understanding of R2R, AP, AR, and Accounts Finalization.
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Local candidates from Ahmedabad preferred.
- Prior experience handling international clients (UK, US, or Middle East) is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a client-facing environment and conducting regular client meetings/calls.
