Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and Tally. Prior experience in the EdTech industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.

• Prepare and review bank statements, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.

• Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and management reporting.

• Ensure timely processing of payments, receipts, and expense records.

• Support statutory audits, compliance requirements, and financial reporting activities.

• Maintain accurate records in Tally ERP and ensure data integrity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial analysis.

• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred

• Experience working in an EdTech, Education, or Technology-driven organization.

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
