Assignment Manager to spearhead physical security for our high-profile client sites. This is a critical leadership role that bridges the gap between ground-level execution and corporate strategy.
The Role
As the Assignment Manager, you will own the end-to-end security delivery. You aren't just overseeing guards; you are managing a sophisticated ecosystem of personnel, technology, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence & Leadership
- Deployment: Manage daily personnel deployment, shift scheduling, and site-specific SOP compliance.
- Standards: Conduct briefings on grooming, discipline, and attendance; perform surprise night inspections to ensure 24/7 readiness.
- Control: Oversee internal/perimeter patrolling, access control for restricted zones (Labs/Data Centers), and visitor/vendor management.
- Training: Lead weekly security drills and refresher training sessions for on-site teams.
- Technical Systems & Audit
- Uptime Management: Ensure 100% functionality of CCTV, Access Control, and FAPA systems.
- Audits: Conduct regular badge, workstation, and access key audits.
- Coordination: Work with facility teams and AMC partners for system maintenance and e-portal approvals.
- Crisis & Incident Management
- Serve as the first escalation point for medical emergencies, duress alerts, and breaches.
- Liaise with the EMEIA SOC for remote monitoring and video retrieval.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Stakeholder & Backend Management
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, attending virtual sync-ups for Pan-India operations.
- G4S Backend: Manage payroll data, insurance, uniform issuance, and attendance records for the security force.
- Reporting: Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering alarms, incident logs, and vendor performance.
Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory).
- Experience: 5-10 years in security operations management.
- Context: Prior experience in multinational corporate environments (specifically the IT sector) is highly advantageous.
- Language: Impeccable fluency in spoken and written English. Clarity, grammar, and pronunciation are strictly mandatory and will be tested.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-Approval portals, and surveillance tech.
- Strong leadership ethics and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- High attention to detail regarding documentation and reporting SLAs.
