Job Description

J.P. Morgan Commercial Investment Bank is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As an Asset Servicing Associate, you will process and validate income and mandatory corporate actions while delivering BAU trade operations for the assigned location. You lead exception management, client inquiry resolution, and root-cause analysis to increase STP and reduce manual touchpoints. You partner with Risk, Technology, and Client Service teams to escalate issues appropriately, implement control enhancements, and identify technology improvements that raise quality and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process and validate income and mandatory corporate actions end-to-end within agreed SLAs.
  • Own and escalate Announcement Capture Utility issues, coordinating with Operational and Risk leads for timely resolution.
  • Deliver BAU fund services trade operations for the assigned location with consistent quality and control.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to process transactions and resolve exceptions promptly respond to client inquiries with accurate, timely updates.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to increase STP and reduce repeat client queries drive client behavior change in partnership with Client Service.
  • Apply risk management discipline, managing issues above materiality thresholds through to resolution and documenting controls.
  • Partner with the technology strategy team to identify and deliver internal and external technology improvements that reduce exceptions and enhance transparency.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong product knowledge of corporate actions and the transaction lifecycle subject matter expertise in one or more of Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, or Derivatives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Outlook or equivalent) with the ability to analyze data and prepare clear operational reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of initiating change and strengthening controls.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience with corporate actions announcement capture utilities and related market platforms.
  • Experience leading exception reduction programs that improve STP and reduce client inquiries.
  • Experience managing materiality thresholds, escalations, and risk remediation plans.
  • Experience collaborating with technology teams to deliver tooling and automation that enhance operational efficiency and control.
