Asset Protection Officer - RFH

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for providing Security & asset protection of property, personnel, material and information in his assigned Zone / duty place area with the help of his team comprising company officers and outsourced staff under the supervision of his Zonal Security Head.

Access control # men, material, information and vehicles

• Check & deploy adequate manpower for managing access control & Property Protection in the zone.
• Monitor checking of valid incoming/outgoing vehicles/men/material from the zone.
• Monitor logging of material transition to-n-from the zone.
• Ensure random checking with metal detectors, mirror trolley etc. Maximum utilization of Security gadgets.
• Monitor and randomly check Material gate passes and tally authorized signatures.
• Ensure smooth & incident free traffic movement (men & vehicle) in company premises.
  
  

Asset protection

• Ensure security of Identified critical infrastructure in zone.
• Ensure Safety & Security of office / company asset.
• Monitor & ensure Security operations as per laid processes and procedures.
• Deviation handling and management.
• Monitor & ensure availability and up-keeping of Security infrastructure, security gadgets and automation.
• Update/plan strategic initiatives for betterment& improvement of Access Control System.
  
  

Situational awareness

• Awareness about special INT inputs (internal team / own resources) to change the Security level.
• Develop a reliable Internal & External security intelligence support network for asset protection.
• Security Awareness program for employees and contract workmen.
• Daily security tool box talk for workmen.
  
  

Education Requirement :


Necessary :

Graduate - Any disciple

NCC - C Certificate.

Desirable :

• Knowledge of Land of law-Criminal, IR and labour law
• RGSS road safety management PGM.
• VIP Protection Courses - RGSS/ SPG/ NSG / Defence Services.
• ISPS / Port Security Protection Course/ Maritime Facility Security Course.
  
  

Experience Requirement :


Necessary

01 to 02 Yrs experience in Security function with RGSS.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Security Automation # Usage / technical functions.
• Additional Security related Course done from recognized institute.
  
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Should be through in site knowledge (topography and layout) and key capabilities of sub functional teams for providing deliverables as per SLA.
• Pro-active approach in dealing with exceptions / odd-situations.
• Must be resourceful, in depth knowledge about the Security documentation / processes & procedures.
• Knowledge about the process risks, Safety risks mainly in hazardous area.
