Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end performance monitoring and analytics for wind, solar, and BESS assets to ensure optimal generation, storage utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking of plants and key equipment (WTGs, inverters, transformers, and BESS systems).
  • Drive analysis of SCADA data, generation reports, alarms, and downtime logs to proactively identify performance gaps, anomalies, and operational risks.
  • Lead performance benchmarking against expected energy yield, contractual guarantees, OEM specifications, and design performance parameters.
  • Oversee tracking and analysis of energy losses including availability losses, grid curtailment, equipment faults, and storage inefficiencies, and drive initiatives to minimize losses.
  • Collaborate with O&M, OEM, engineering, and SCADA teams to implement performance optimization initiatives and improve reliability across the renewable asset portfolio.

The Successful Applicant

  • B.Tech in Electrical, Energy, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in wind power plant performance monitoring, analytics, or asset management.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in handling large datasets.
  • Knowledge of wind turbine technologies, SCADA systems, and solar plant operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, data visualization, and statistical performance modelling.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
