Asset manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and manage IT service assets and configuration items (CIs) across their lifecycle
• Maintain an accurate and updated asset register for all service-related assets
• Ensure integrity and consistency of asset and configuration data across multiple systems
• Manage complete asset lifecycle including requisition, procurement, installation, movement, upgrade, and disposal
• Maintain ownership records and ensure availability of asset data for audits and reviews
• Generate asset reports for internal and external systems including financial and internal billing platforms
• Update asset records for all change management activities (IMACD: Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose)
• Conduct periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Perform asset and configuration item reconciliation between asset databases and live systems
• Prepare exception reports and monthly reconciliation reports for management review
• Support break/fix, organizational changes, and service change management processes
