Key Responsibilities
The Assessment Scientist will play a key role in strengthening Right Management's assessment science capabilities by contributing to the design, research, and validation of assessment content across behavioral, psychometric, and simulation-based methodologies.
The role will support the Assessment -COE in ensuring that all assessment solutions are grounded in scientific rigor, psychometric robustness, and business relevance. The individual will work closely with consulting, product, and leadership teams to ensure assessment solutions are grounded in strong psychometric principles and aligned with business outcomes.
1. Assessment Research & Development
- Contribute to the design and development of behavioral, psychometric, and simulation-based assessment content.
- Independently take the responsibility of development of scientifically robust assessment content aligned with competency frameworks.
- Assist in designing innovative assessment methodologies and content delivery approaches.
- Support quality checks to ensure linguistic and conceptual equivalence in translated assessment tools.
2. Competency Framework Development
- Participate in job analysis and competency mapping exercises to support development of proprietary competency frameworks.
- Contribute to performance correlation studies to ensure frameworks are predictive of workplace success.
- Support the development and refinement of proprietary competency frameworks across industries and leadership levels.
3. Knowledge Repository & Tool Management
- Maintain and organize the central repository of assessment tools and content categorized by industry, role, and leadership level.
- Ensure documentation and version control for all assessment content.
4. Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Consulting, Product, Platform Operations, and Senior Leadership teams to provide research-backed inputs for assessment solutions.
- Support consulting teams with technical insights and assessment design inputs for complex client engagements.
Key Skills & Qualities
- Passion for psychological research and ability to use the learnings in new projects.
- Hands-on with data analysis and use of tools like MS Excel and SPSS.
- Ability to take initiatives.
- Very high attention to detail and quality focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM/Master's degree in (Preferred: HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields)
- 3–5 years of experience in talent assessments, psychometrics, or related roles
- Exposure to digital assessment platforms or HR technology is an advantage
