Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated ITI Fresher / Junior Mechanical candidate to support assembly, fabrication, and basic mechanical tasks in the production department. The candidate will assist in assembling mechanical components, inspecting parts, and supporting manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly Work
- Perform mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies
- Install hardware such as bolts, screws, rivet nuts, and fasteners
- Assemble sheet metal parts and mechanical structures
- Follow assembly drawings and instructions
Production Support
- Assist in fabrication and production activities
- Support laser cutting, bending, and welding operations
- Handle basic tools such as drills, grinders, and tapping tools
- Perform fitting and alignment of parts
Inspection & Quality
- Check parts for defects or damage
- Verify hole sizes, dimensions, and fitment
- Ensure proper tightening and installation of hardware
- Maintain quality standards during assembly
Material Handling
- Move and organize components and materials
- Assist in inventory checking
- Maintain proper storage of tools and parts
Documentation
- Follow work instructions and engineering drawings
- Update basic production records
- Report issues to the supervisor
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools
- Ability to read simple drawings
- Basic measurement knowledge (Vernier, scale, etc.)
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes
- Teamwork and discipline
Qualification
- ITI (Fitter / Mechanical / Welder / Turner)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Freshers are welcome
