Enovix is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronics Technician to join our team and support our technical operations in India. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical activities, including development, assembly, calibration, testing and maintenance.
Job Summary
We are looking for an Electronics Technician to support electronics design, testing and installation of custom lithium-cell formation electronics and equipment. He/ She will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including mounting and wiring electronic boards, programming and calibrating equipment, and supporting software integration and cell testing activities. This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual with a relevant technical background.
Responsibilities
Broadly, perform assembly, repair, integration, testing and maintenance of custom boards and systems, and collaborate on development activities to ensure operational efficiency.
Detailed Responsibilities Include
- Populate, rework, and repair assembled Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) as required.
- Mount and wire custom electronic boards into temperature chambers, ensuring precise assembly and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform wire crimping, insert crimped wires into connectors, and assemble connectors for reliable connections.
- Program and calibrate custom electronic boards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Integrate custom electronic boards with system software to ensure seamless functionality.
- Record concerns, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical queries.
- Develop and document operational protocols for custom electronic boards.
- Connect battery cells to custom electronic boards and monitor their testing processes.
- Support maintenance of temperature chambers and custom boards to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team on cell-building and testing activities.
- Maintain and update inventory records to ensure the availability of tools and components.
Qualifications And Skills
- ITI or Diploma/ Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience working with electrical and electronic manufacturing.
- Adequate knowledge of electrical manufacturing process and electronic components.
- Basic knowledge of power electronics, programming, primarily Python, is an advantage.
- Skilled in PCB assembly and disassembly, soldering techniques, electrical wiring and cabling, cable layouts, crimping, electronics assembly, etc.
- Hands-on experience with tools and measuring instruments such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscope, soldering iron, microscopes, crimping and wire cutting tools, etc. is essential
- Familiarity with programming and calibration processes (training will be provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and executing tasks.
