Job SummaryWe are seeking an Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily production operations for automated urine bag assembly machines in a medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves achieving production targets while ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient machine operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Management
- Supervise daily operations of automated urine bag assembly machines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with required quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
2. Team Supervision
- Manage and guide machine operators and assembly staff.
- Allocate manpower across shifts and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain productivity and discipline on the shop floor.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Support in-process quality checks and resolve production issues.
- Maintain batch records, shift reports, and production documentation.
4. Machine & Process Control
- Monitor machine parameters, settings, and process conditions.
- Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and changeovers.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rejection.
- Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues during production.
Requirements- 36 years of experience in assembly line supervision or automated production lines.
- Experience in medical devices / disposable products / plastic assembly preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and production documentation.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills- Experience with high-speed automated assembly machines.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
Preferred Experience- Experience in Urine bag / IV bag / disposable medical products manufacturing.
- Experience handling high-speed automated assembly machines.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives.
