About the Role

We are building the next-generation Global Satellite Constellation for highly precise and secure Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) using Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. We are seeking an Assembly & Integration Lead, this is a senior position in charge of complete payload development from a mechanical and electrical perspective. This role requires development of a navigation payload, from process planning, electrical & mechanical analysis, to development and testing. You have product ownership from incoming components till ensuring final payload assembly testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process planning as per Aerospace standards for development of spacecraft payload.
  • Conduct analysis of electrical systems for EMI EMC tests, functional analysis, vibration, thermal, etc. to ensure product and design assurance.
  • Take charge of ensuring component incoming inspection (supplier quality), isolated checks, grounding, and unloaded checks.
  • Management of day-to-day of unit-level and system-level integration and test operations.
  • Build and manage a team of exceptional engineers and technicians to reliably and repeatedly deliver spacecraft payload.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
  • Work hands-on with flight hardware at build, test and launch sites to ensure mission success
  • Ensure availability and readiness of assembly tooling, fixtures, MGSE, EGSE, cleanroom infrastructure, and integration facilities.
  • Support harness installation, electrical continuity verification, grounding implementation, and interface validation during integration.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 3-8 years of professional experience in system-level design, integration or testing of electrical hardware systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to both perform AI&T tasks and lead a team of employees supporting AI&T.
  • Ability to accurately estimate complexity and duration of AI&T tasks.
  • Familiarity with electrical simulations including EMI, EMC, ESD, harness design, simulation and tests.
  • Experience with software like Capital, Siemens NX, Catia electrical for simulation and testing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical literature, institutional ICDs, and international legal/regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with uncertain or incomplete tracking observations.
  • Familiarity with ECSS, NASA, IPC, or equivalent spacecraft assembly, integration, and workmanship standards is desirable.
