Job Description
We are seeking an ASPICE Process Engineer to define, deploy, and continuously improve Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) compliant processes across automotive
software and systems development programs. The role focuses on enabling projects to achieve ASPICE Capability Level 2 / 3 by establishing robust
processes, coaching engineering teams, performing gap analyses, and supporting internal and external assessments. The role also ensures alignment with
functional safety and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, tailor, and maintain ASPICE-compliant processesacross SYS and SWE process areas
- Create and maintain process assets including procedures,guidelines, templates, checklists, and compliant work product examples
- Perform project-specific process tailoring, gap analysis, andmaturity planning
- Coach and mentor project teams on requirements engineering,architecture design, verification, and validation best practices
- Prepare and support projects for internal audits, pre-assessments, and VDA-based ASPICE assessments
- Conduct work product reviews, identify non-conformities, anddrive corrective and preventive actions to closure
- Configure and support ALM/PLM tools to ensure traceability, baselining, and audit readiness
- Support CI/CD quality gates including static code analysis and test coverage metrics
- Collaborate with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity teams toalign ASPICE with ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lessons learned, metrics, and retrospectives
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, or related field
- 3–8+ years of experience in automotive software or systems development
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with ASPICE processengineering, coaching, or assessments
- Strong understanding of ASPICE v3.1 framework including BasePractices, Generic Practices, and Capability Levels
- Experience with SYS and SWE lifecycle work products such asrequirements, architecture, design, test specifications, and reports
- Experience supporting or participating in VDA-based ASPICEassessments
- Familiarity with ALM and requirements management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Jama, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
