ASP.NET Technical Engineer (Hydro Domain)

Location: Pan India
Experience: 4+ Years

Your Role

As an ASP.NET Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications used within Hydro Power Generation environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and support teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while ensuring operational continuity.

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Microsoft technologies.
Develop RESTful APIs and application integrations to support business and operational processes.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Develop and optimize database components including queries, stored procedures, and views.
Perform application performance tuning and code optimization activities.
Support production applications and participate in incident investigation and resolution.
Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and release management processes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Your Profile

Domain Experience

Mandatory: Hydro Power Generation Domain Experience

Experience working within Hydro Generation environments.
Understanding of hydro plant operations, asset management, and operational systems.
Familiarity with power generation workflows and business-critical operational applications.
Ability to support and develop solutions aligned with hydro industry requirements.

Core Technical Skills

Strong development experience in:

C#
.NET Framework 4.0+
ASP.NET Core
Web APIs

Hands-on experience with:

Angular and/or React
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript

Strong SQL Server skills including:

Query Optimization
Stored Procedures
Views
Database Troubleshooting
