ASP.NET Core Lead Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ASP.NET Core & Angular Lead Developer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications and APIs.

As a Lead Developer, you will play a critical role in the Sales Planning System for the Home Entertainment division of Sony Pictures Entertainment. You will be responsible for architecting scalable solutions, leading a development team, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring best coding practices.

This role requires expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, and TypeScript, along with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, cloud environments (AWS), and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Technical Leadership & Architecture:

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable and high-performance web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for the development team.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
• Manage integration of front-end Angular components with backend APIs.
• Maintain clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.

✅ Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead a team of developers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and support.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
• Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team.

✅ Stakeholder & Project Management:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Manage communications with stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, milestones, and challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align development goals with business needs.

✅ Development & Troubleshooting:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and APIs.
• Conduct thorough testing (unit testing, integration testing) to ensure application stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Document code, processes, and solutions for future reference.

✅ Continuous Learning & Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Explore new tools and frameworks to improve development processes and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ 8+ years of professional development experience in ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, and TypeScript.

✔ Strong expertise in designing and developing web applications & APIs using ASP.NET Core framework.

✔ Experience in C#, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

✔ Strong experience in MS SQL Database & Entity Framework Core.

✔ AWS experience is highly preferred.

✔ Proficiency in Git (or other version control systems).

✔ Expertise in RESTful API design principles and best practices.

✔ Strong software design principles, patterns, and best practices.

✔ Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.

✔ Experience in writing both manual and automated test cases.

✔ Ability to write effective technical & functional design documents.

✔ Proven experience in stakeholder management & communication.

✔ Previous experience in leading a small development team.

✔ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
