Job Description

Job Title: ASO Specialist

Location: Dehradun

Experience: 2- 3 Years

 

About Role -

We are seeking a results-driven ASO Specialist with 2–3 years of experience in optimizing mobile apps for visibility, downloads, and user engagement across app marketplaces (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile marketing, keyword research, analytics, and creative optimization to drive organic growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • App Store Optimization (ASO):
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend evaluation.
  • Optimize app titles, descriptions, metadata, and screenshots for maximum visibility.
  • Implement A/B testing for creatives (icons, screenshots, videos).
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor app rankings, conversion rates, and user acquisition metrics.
  • Generate regular performance reports and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to align ASO strategies with overall growth goals.
  • Coordinate with developers for technical implementation of ASO recommendations.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Stay updated on app store algorithm changes, industry best practices, and competitor strategies.
  • Growth Initiatives:
  • Drive organic installs through ASO, localization, and creative optimization.
  • Support paid user acquisition campaigns with ASO insights.

 

 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in App Store Optimization or mobile marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Play Console, App Store Connect, Firebase, and analytics tools (e.g., App Annie, Sensor Tower, Data.ai).
  • Expertise in keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and their application in ASO.

·      Technical knowledge with a clear understanding of optimization regulations of Apple and related platforms.

  • Experience with localization strategies for global app markets.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in gaming, fintech, or e-commerce apps.
  • Familiarity with paid UA campaigns and how ASO complements them.
  • Knowledge of creative design tools (Photoshop, Figma, Canva) for asset optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple apps/projects simultaneously.
