About The Role

Job Summary

The Tendering Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing.

This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyze problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.

On time Submission of tenders

Techno commercially optimum and competitive offers

On time submission and closure of technical clarifications, Technical bid clarification meeting as required

Clear handover of the project to project team after order, attending ORM

Close project open points if any and attend customer KOM if required

Analyze RFQs, tenders, and bid documents for centrifugal pumps (API 610, ISO, ANSI, API 610 / ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 / client specs)

horizontal/vertical, multistage, etc.)

Basic Knowledge for Bought out items like, Mechanical Seal & Seal Plan, Motors, Lube Oil System

Prepare commercial offers, BOQ-based pricing, and option sheets.

Co-ordinate with Procurement for bought‑out items, factory for delivery timelines & Sales for commercial terms and margins.

Provide pre‑bid clarifications and participate in technical discussions

Support sales teams during during Negotiations & Pre- Bid technical Justifications

Enquiry and evaluation of subcontractor offers as well as corresponding expediting

Review quote received and challenge as necessary internal as well as external stakeholders to ensure a competitive proposal is submitted meeting Sales / market expectation
