About the Role

Vertech Health Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales, distribution and market expansion in Pune and the surrounding market.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in the Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Healthcare Consumer Products segment, along with a strong network among retailers, wholesalers, distributors and dealers.

Candidates who have handled products such as BP Monitors, Massagers, Breast Pumps, Thermometers and other home healthcare/medical products will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned Pune territory.

Develop and expand the company's dealer, distributor, wholesale and retail network.

Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers and retailers.

Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners.

Drive both primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.

Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.

Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product movement and market trends.

Ensure product availability and visibility across retail and wholesale channels.

Coordinate with distributors and retailers to improve stock movement and sales.

Generate regular sales reports and provide market feedback to management.

Support product promotion, visibility and brand-building activities.

Develop new markets and strengthen the company's presence across the Pune region.

Candidate Requirements

3–6 years of relevant sales experience in Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Healthcare Products / Pharma OTC / Consumer Healthcare.

Experience selling products such as:

BP Machines / BP Monitors

Massagers

Breast Pumps

Thermometers

Pulse Oximeters

Nebulizers

Glucometers

Other Home Healthcare & Medical Devices

Strong existing network among retailers, wholesalers, distributors and dealers in Pune.

Experience handling both retail and wholesale/distributor channels.

Good understanding of the Pune healthcare/medical products market.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Ability to independently manage the territory and develop new business.

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.

Preferred Candidate

We strongly prefer candidates currently working in the Home Healthcare / Medical Devices / Consumer Healthcare segment with an active market network in Pune.

Candidates with hands-on experience managing distributors, wholesalers and retail outlets for healthcare/medical products will have an added advantage.

Compensation

CTC: 5–6 LPA

Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, current CTC, market exposure and overall suitability for the role.
