The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales, developing channel
partners, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence for Voltra's Lithium-ion
Battery and Energy Storage product portfolio. The role demands strong technical
understanding, market intelligence, and the ability to deliver consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Lithium-ion batteries and BESS
solutions.
Identify new business opportunities in C&I, EV, telecom, solar, UPS, and energy storage
markets.
Develop and manage dealer/ distributor networks for regional expansion.
Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and solution-based selling.
2. Key Account Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, and
corporate clients.
Understand customer requirements and collaborate with engineering teams for
customized solutions.
Ensure timely order closure, payment follow-ups, and customer satisfaction.
3. Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, pricing trends, market demand, and policy developments.
Provide feedback to product and R&D teams for continuous improvement.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with production, logistics, and service teams to ensure timely deliveries and
installations.
Maintain sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) or MBA in
Sales/Marketing.
34 years of experience in Lithium-ion batteries, Solar, UPS, EV, or Energy Storage
industry.
Strong understanding of battery technology, hybrid inverters, BESS, and related
components.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Results-driven with strong ownership and customer-centric approach.
