About The Role

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for applying practical knowledge to ensure that manufacturing processes and outputs meet quality standards. This includes auditing, monitoring, and troubleshooting deviations in production.

This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.

The Advance Quality Manager is responsible for collaborating with Tendering, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to understand and implement customer and project-specific quality requirements. The role ensures alignment with business needs, optimization of quality requirements in line with customer specifications, and effective resolution of customer queries. The position supports implementation of lesson learnt, drives process improvements, and strengthens team competency in quality.

  • This position leads the end-to-end process of reviewing customer specifications during the tendering phase.
  • Provides consolidated technical inputs, raises quality clarifications/deviations, defines minimum inspection levels, and shares lessons learned with Sales & Tendering teams.
  • High-impact role directly influencing customer satisfaction, quality cost optimization, and business competitiveness. Provide pre-bid quality support to Sales and Tendering teams by interpreting customer specifications and identifying applicable quality requirements. Review tender documents for compliance with international standards and customer expectations. Communicate and negotiate deviations with customers when internal/standards requirements differ from project quality specifications. Implement lessons learned and return-of-experience (ROE) to address issues at the tendering stage and reduce reoccurrence during project execution. Drive improvement projects, including reduction of customer witness/hold points. Drive competency development within the Quality team through training, coaching, and sharing best practices. Ensure adherence to internal quality procedures and continuous improvement directives. Drive cost optimization by analyzing gaps between internal and customer requirements and offering optimized, compliant solutions.
