Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Area Sales Executive (ASE) located in Dehradun. The ASE will be responsible for managing sales operations within assigned territories, maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers, conducting market surveys, achieving sales targets, and preparing periodic sales reports. The role involves ensuring product availability, monitoring competitor activity, and implementing promotional campaigns at the local level.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Experience in distributor and retailer relationship management and market expansion activities.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in preparing sales reports and evaluating sales data for performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with sales tracking software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Prior experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, personal care category is preferred, should have local market working experience in dehradun & nearby hill areas.
