A staffing partner serving enterprise IT, banking, insurance and manufacturing sectors, we deliver legacy application support, maintenance and modernization services for mission-critical systems. We hire onsite developers to sustain and evolve IBM i (AS/400) platforms that power transactional workloads and back-office operations.
Location: India (On-site role) seeking experienced IBM i / AS400 developers to join client-facing teams supporting large enterprise applications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain RPG/CL programs and service programs on IBM i to support new features and production fixes.
- Write and optimize DB2/400 SQL, stored procedures and queries for application performance and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot batch jobs, debug runtime issues, perform root-cause analysis and deliver timely production support.
- Translate business requirements and functional specs into technical designs, estimates and testable deliverables.
- Implement code changes using Rational Developer for i (RDi) and manage deployments following change-control procedures.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, QA and operations to validate fixes, support cutovers and drive improvement initiatives.
