Good Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Hands on experience in RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, RPG/400 and CL/400
Proficiency to create and use database files - PF and LF more appropriately
Exposure to Menu & Screen Design SDA and Printer File layout RLU
Capable of writing and analyzing RPGLE Free and Fixedformat programs
Good insight on ILE concepts - Activation groups, Modularity, Procedures and Service Programs
Knowledge in SQL query building and DB2
Experience in using IBM I Commands and APIs
Ability to handle FTP and Secure FTP file transmission protocols within iSeries
Experience in using Change Implementation tool – preferably THENON
Understanding on User hooks of IBM I product
Good to have knowledge in Webservice (SOAP, REST) method of data communication
Preferably good to have experience in handling Insurance business application
Experience in Agile way of working
