Description
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in developing and maintaining applications on the AS400 platform, along with strong programming skills and a solid understanding of database management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AS400 applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AS400 environments.
- Optimize existing code and systems for improved performance and efficiency.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in system integration testing.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages.
- Experience with DB2 databases and SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of AS400 system architecture and operations.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
