Arts & Drama Teacher- Bangalore (Sadahalli Gate, Devanahalli) - Part Time

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for an Arts & Drama Teacher for school based at Sadahalli Gate, Devanahalli, in Karnataka, India. The Arts & Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging drama and performing arts lessons that align with the school's curriculum and developmental goals. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching acting and performance techniques, directing classroom activities, and organizing rehearsals or small performances. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive, safe environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and confidence. The teacher will also coordinate with school leadership and other educators to integrate arts and drama into broader school programs and events.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Drama and Performing Arts, with the ability to demonstrate and model techniques in voice, movement, and characterization.
• Proficiency in Teaching and Teaching Acting, including classroom management, student engagement, and differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Prior experience teaching drama or performing arts in a school or similar educational setting is required.
• Relevant degree, diploma, or certification in Theatre, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field is desirable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusive practices, and creating a respectful, encouraging classroom environment.
