About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and people oriented Artist Relations & Partnerships Intern to build and maintain relationships with singers, musicians, bands and other performing artists.

The intern will help us expand our artist network, understand artist's profiles and availability, and coordinate performance opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, communication & coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Artist Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Identify and connect with singers, musicians, bands, DJs and other performing artists.
• Build and maintain a database of artists, including their profiles, genres, locations, performance fees and availability.
• Communicate with artists to understand their requirements, preferences, and expectations.
• Develop long-term relationships with artists and keep them engaged with upcoming opportunities.
• Follow up regularly with artists and maintain accurate communication records.

2. Artist Profiling & Onboarding

• Collect artist portfolios, photographs, performance videos, social media links and other relevant details.
• Understand artist music genres, experience, preferred locations and pricing.
• Assist in onboarding artists to the company's artist network.
• Keep artist profiles and contact information updated.

3.Performance Opportunity Sourcing & Gig Hunting

• Identify and source performance opportunities for singers, musicians, bands, and other artists.
• Connect with event organizers, wedding planners, corporate clients, event management companies, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and live music venues.
• Build relationships with talent agencies, concert promoters, and entertainment professionals to generate gig opportunities.
• Research upcoming events, festivals, private parties, and corporate functions that require performers.
• Pitch suitable artists to potential clients based on their genre, availability, and performance fees.
• Follow up with leads and maintain a database of potential clients, venues, and booking opportunities.
• Assist in converting leads into confirmed performance bookings.

4.Partnerships & Networking

• Develop partnerships with event companies, venues, and entertainment agencies.
• Expand the company's professional network to create recurring performance opportunities for artists.
• Maintain regular communication with industry contacts to discover new gigs and collaborations.

Key Objective of the Role

The primary objective is to build a strong network of performing artists while actively sourcing and facilitating performance opportunities for them. The intern will help bridge the gap between artists who are looking for gigs and clients or organizations seeking entertainment, contributing to the growth of the company's artist network and booking pipeline.
