Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role overview

The senior hands-on engineer who leads the build-and-deploy effort and is the technical counterpart to the Microsoft / McKinsey leads. The vendors lead the architecture; the Technical Lead understands their design, challenges it, asks the right questions, and ensures the team builds to it with quality. What matters is demonstrated AI build plus engineering rigour.

Job Location: Bangalore/Kochi/Pune/Mumbai/Noida

Required what you must be able to do

• 6-11 years in software / AI engineering with strong, recent hands-on coding. Language open Python preferred; strong C# / .NET or TypeScript equally welcome.
• Has built and shipped LLM / agentic systems to production — orchestration, RAG, tool / function calling, evaluation.
• Engineering rigour: code quality, testing, version control, CI/CD; able to own and govern a codebase and its MLOps.
• Able to be the technical counterpart to a partner's architects — challenge a design and absorb it.
• Track record leading or supervising a build team; strong communication.

Good to have

• Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI; agentic frameworks (LangChain / LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen).
• Experience delivering within a partner- or vendor-led architecture.
• Compliance or manufacturing domain; experience enabling client teams.
