Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Hiring: AI Product Engineer (Applied AI + Software Development + LLM Integration)

Location: Remote

Experience: 3-5+ years

We are looking for a hands-on AI Product Engineer to help accelerate our engineering productivity, automate workflows, and integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into our product.

This role is practical and implementation-focusedideal for someone who loves building tools, automating processes, and shipping AI-powered features.

What You'll Work On

1. Developer Productivity & Internal AI Tools

• Build internal tools like documentation generators, test generators, and code review assistants.
• Implement automated code-quality checks powered by LLMs.
• Create AI onboarding assistants to help new developers understand the codebase.
• Build internal chatbots to answer technical questions about architecture and logic.

2. QA & Testing Automation

• Develop AI-driven systems to auto-generate unit and integration tests.
• Implement AI tools for bug root-cause analysis and reproduction steps.
• Automate regression testing and boost QA coverage.

3. AI Features for the Product

• Integrate LLMs and ML features into customer-facing applications.
• Build APIs for summarization, search, personalization, recommendations, etc.
• Work with vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and RAG pipelines.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI features in production.

4. Business & Workflow Automation

• Build AI workflows for:
• Email summarization
• Invoice processing
• Report generation
• HR/Scrum/Meeting summaries

5. Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Evaluate new AI technologies and propose implementation strategies.
• Build rapid prototypes and iterate with stakeholders.
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Maintain observability, logging, and reliability of AI systems.

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong software engineering background (Python, Node.js, or Java).
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector DBs, RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus).
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.

AI Skills

• Prompt engineering and LLM tooling.
• Ability to fine-tune or adapt models using internal data.
• Rapid prototyping mindset.
• Understanding of AI safety, bias, and evaluation practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration with dev teams.
• Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Ownership mindset with fast execution.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Lang Chain, Llama Index, or similar framewornhks.
• Experience building internal developer platforms.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks for AI UI components.
• Background in MLOps or data engineering.
