AI Developer – LLM Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Developer / LLM Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, experience working with modern AI frameworks, and exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build and integrate Generative AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and vector database integrations.
• Evaluate, test, and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Deploy AI applications in cloud environments and manage production workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams.
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI systems in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.
• Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus).
• Experience in developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with machine learning lifecycle and model deployment.

DevOps & CI/CD Requirements

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and deployment automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools and workflows.
• Experience working with distributed systems and scalable AI applications.
• Understanding of security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agents and autonomous workflows.
• Knowledge of vector search and semantic retrieval techniques.
• Experience with model evaluation frameworks and observability tools.
