At Havells state-of-the-art Centre for Research & Innovation (CRI), we are accelerating our Make in India mission by embedding AI and intelligent automation across engineering workflows. We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer who can build production-grade Deep Learning and Agentic GenAI systems that directly influence product design, engineering efficiency, and nextgeneration innovation.
Position: AI/ML Engineer
Core Responsibilities
- Build scalable Deep Learning pipelines to train models on massive datasets (4B+ rows) with robust preprocessing and memorysafe architectures.
- Design and implement Agentic AI systems including RAG pipelines, tool calling, memory structures, orchestrator flows, and evaluation harnesses.
- Build backend services using FastAPI to deploy AI agents and models with secure, production-ready APIs.
- Deploy surrogate models and AI services across local clusters and Azure environments, leveraging MLflow, CI/CD, and DVC.
- Work closely with mechanical and design engineers to integrate CAD awareness and design constraints into AI workflows.

Minimum Qualifications
- 25 years of hands-on experience in ML/DL + GenAI + engineering-focused applications.
- Strong Python skills; proficiency with PyTorch preferred.
- Delivered at least one ML system or GenAI agent to production (beyond notebooks).
