Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer. The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems that power CITS solutions, working closely with product and engineering teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing machine learning pipelines, implementing pattern recognition and neural network algorithms, and applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to solve business problems. The role also involves writing clean, scalable code, integrating AI components into production software, conducting experiments, evaluating model performance, and documenting technical approaches. Collaboration in an agile environment, participation in code reviews, and continuous learning to stay current with AI research and industry best practices are key aspects of the position.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
• Practical experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including training, tuning, and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), leveraging libraries and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, Transformers, NLTK) to build language-aware applications.
• Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and experience working with cloud platforms or MLOps tools for model deployment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience in building AI solutions for domains such as SaaS, IoT, or data-driven products is a plus.
