Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer with 5+ years of software engineering experience to lead the development of our next-generation autonomous AI systems. Instead of building isolated chatbots, you will be responsible for creating highly connected AI agents that safely read, write, and execute tasks across our enterprise tooling ecosystem. A core focus of this role will be designing and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients to standardize how our LLMs interact with external data environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade MCP Servers and MCP Clients to bridge the gap between LLMs and corporate databases, APIs, and file systems.
- Architect multi-agent systems and tool-calling frameworks that allow AI assistants to seamlessly chain reasoning and action.
- Create structured JSON-RPC communication layers and transport abstractions for reliable model-to-tool communication.
- Implement governance, authenticated access, and strict permission scopes for tools exposed to AI models to ensure secure executions.
- Write robust async code in Python or TypeScript to connect open-source MCP SDKs with enterprise-scale infrastructures.
Qualifications:
- Core Experience: 5+ years of software development experience (Backend, Distributed Systems, or API-first architectures).
- AI Tooling Stack: Proven hands-on experience building with Model Context Protocol (MCP). Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen) and tool-calling models.
- Programming Languages: Deep proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript / Node.js (as these have the strongest open-source MCP SDK support).
- Integration Knowledge: Strong grasp of API design (REST, RPC, WebSockets) and experience working with enterprise data layers.
- Mindset: An engineering-first mindset focused on building stable, predictable, and scalable infrastructure around non-deterministic AI models.
