About the role
We are a fast-growing IT services company specializing in e-commerce website and mobile app development for clients across India and global markets. We are seeking an AI Manager to lead our AI/ML practice, embedding intelligent features into our digital products — from personalized shopping experiences and smart search to AI-driven analytics and chatbots. You will work closely with our development, UX, and client delivery teams to make AI a core differentiator in every project we ship.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic AI Planning: Define the AI/ML roadmap, identifying high-value use cases and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects, from research and development (R&D) to production deployment (MLOps).
- Define AI strategy for ecommerce products (web & mobile)
- Build and deploy AI features: recommendation engines, smart search, dynamic pricing, chatbots, and fraud detection
- Integrate AI/ML into React, Flutter, and Node.js-based platforms
- Collaborate with project managers and client delivery leads
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI APIs (OpenAI, Google AI, AWS AI services)
- Ensure AI models meet performance, scalability, and cost targets
- Mentor junior engineers and build internal AI capabilities
- Contribute to pre-sales and client proposals for AI-enabled projects
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software/AI/ML roles
- 2+ years managing AI or data science teams
- Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Experience integrating AI into ecommerce or mobile platforms
- Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and client communication skills
- B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in CS, AI, or related field
- Experience working with Indian and international clients

- Product recommendation and personalization systems
- Visual search and image recognition for product catalogues
- NLP-based chatbots and customer support automation
- Demand forecasting and inventory optimization
- Cart abandonment prediction and re-engagement models
