Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Trainee - Chartered Accountant, based in Chennai. The Articled Trainee will assist with audit assignments, tax-related work, and financial reporting. Responsibilities may include preparing and examining financial records, supporting the preparation of tax returns, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The trainee will collaborate with team members, interact with clients, and develop a thorough understanding of professional practices and standards in accounting.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, accounting software, and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills
- A candidate pursuing or registered for CA articleship under ICAI, with a completed CA Intermediate/IPCC
- Prior internship experience in a similar domain is an added advantage, though not mandatory
