Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit teams in conducting statutory audits of listed and unlisted companies, including test of controls, vouching, and substantive procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with preparation of working papers, documentation, and schedules related to financial statements and tax computations. The role involves learning and applying IND AS, supporting advisory assignments, and helping with FEMA and direct tax-related compliance tasks. The Articled Assistant will collaborate with senior team members, attend client meetings as required, and maintain accurate records and files. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with eligibility to register for articleship as per ICAI guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and auditing concepts.
  • Interest in statutory audits, IND AS convergence, FEMA regulations, and direct tax matters.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; comfort with learning audit and tax software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and working papers.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Professional work ethic, integrity, and willingness to learn under supervision in a structured training environment.
  • Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting, audit, or taxation (if any) will be an advantage.
